Before buying a plan, make sure your phone supports eSIM. The most reliable check: dial *#06# from the phone app — if an EID number appears, your device supports eSIM. The lists below cover the most common compatible devices; note that some market-specific variants differ.
iPhone
iPhone XS and XR onward support eSIM — including the 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 series and SE models from the 2nd generation on. One important exception: iPhones purchased in mainland China do not support eSIM, and some Hong Kong and Macau models differ.
Samsung
Galaxy S20 series onward (S21, S22, S23, S24, S25), the Note 20 series, all Z Flip and Z Fold generations, and several recent A-series models such as the A54 and A55. Caution: some market-specific Samsung variants ship without eSIM even on flagships — verify with *#06#.
Google Pixel
Pixel 3 and later support eSIM (excluding a few early Pixel 3 units in certain markets). All recent models — 6, 7, 8, and 9 — are supported.
Other brands
Selected models from Huawei (P40, Mate 40), Xiaomi (13 onward in global versions), Oppo, OnePlus, and Motorola also support eSIM. Support varies by market, so the EID test remains the definitive check.
